Reports are coming in of a strange incident along a highway outside Barstow, California this weekend. According to witnesses, a strange craft that was flying very low over the highway landed or crashed Saturday (12/12/2009). Following the landing/crash police, black government vehicles and a large military transport were reported racing to the scene. Upon arriving at the scene, the police and other agencies parked their vehicles facing outward, with their headlights on, so as to obstruct any view of the scene. While a photo of the scene was apparently take, as of now it has still not been posted online. Additional reports found by Phantoms & Monsters indicate that a craft was seen by truckers in the area flying low over the highway.

Adding to the mystery are the following videos from YouTube, supposedly shot in Tracy and Ridgecrest, California this weekend. Both videos are posted to established accounts with no other UFO related videos, which leads me to believe that they are genuine footage of some sort of unknown craft.

When a New York man discovered food missing from his apartment, he initially thought it was his girlfriend. When she denied any involvement in the matter, he put out a hidden camera to get to the bottom of the mystery. When he reviewed the tape, he made a shocking discovery. Apparently at some point a woman broke into his home, discovered a crawlspace above his kitchen and decided to move in. Aside from stealing food, the uninvited guest was also apparently using the kitchen sink as a urinal! When the police came and arrested the woman, they estimated she had been living in the apartment for at least a couple of weeks (possibly even longer).

In spite of all the weird and unsettling subject matter that we discuss here on Meets The Weird, I have to say this video is quite possibly the second most creepy thing I have ever seen or experienced.

What was quite possibly the best opportunity for President Obama to announce the existence of intelligent extraterrestrial life to the world has passed without a single word on the subject. Of all the supposed venues for announcement that have been theorized, today’s speech was the only event that would allow the President to make what would be the most important announcement in world history without any overbearing American nationalism. With this opportunity passed, I believe the chances of disclosure coming from President Obama or his administration are slim to none. Barring any action from the UN or another national government, it would appear the current tradition of silence and deception will, for the time being, remain the status quo as it has for the past 62 years.
