Here is an interesting video shot in Fresno, California yesterday morning (May 27, 2010) at approximately 5 AM that shows a pulsating red light flying across the sky followed by a second object that appears to be a helicopter (though the cameraman seems to think it is a second UFO). What interests me most about this footage is that you can clearly see the marker lights on the second object/helicopter where you cannot see them at all on the first pulsing object. In many UFO videos there is only the one unidentified object and even if you do not see marker lights, you still have to wonder if limitations in the camera are masking the tell tale marker lights. However in this clip, we have two craft in approximately the same area and on one we can clearly see its markers. This leads me to believe that the camera would have shown marker lights on the first object had they been there, indicating that the first object was not an aircraft operating under FAA regulations and may very well have been a UFO. ![]() photo by Wammes Waggel Dr Mark Gasson of the University of Reading in the UK says that he is the first human being to be infected by a computer virus. Fortunately for the rest of us, the infection was voluntary and is not catching (at least for humans). Dr. Gasson had an RFID tag, like those used in access control systems or to identify pets, implanted into his hand. Prior to the insertion, the chip was contaminated with a computer virus that targets the access control systems that read the chip. While harmless to its willing host, the virus was able to successfully infect the readers that Dr. Gasson tested. Had other chips been read by the system, they would have also been infected by the virus which would then have been passed on to other reader that scan the newly infected chip. While this was only a proof of concept, it is easy to see the threat posed by this sort of attack in a world where RFID chips are being used in credit cards, passports, our pets and even our own bodies. Imagine, if you will, the havoc that could be cause by a single criminal using an infected credit card to inject a virus into a cash register that sends him all the credit cards put through the machine and infects any RFID cards used at it with the same virus so it could be spread to other terminals. The losses from an attack of this nature could be staggering. Scarier still is the fact that the criminal need not infect the first terminal himself. Using readily available, inexpensive technology, an attacker could build a device to infect any RFID chip that came within range. A simple stroll through a busy airport could easily start a world wide crime spree. If implanted chips that carry medical or other personal information become common place, as many predict they will, mass identity theft could become as easy as a trip to the mall if solutions are not found to the major threat uncovered by Dr. Gasson. While there is no information given as to when or where this video was taken, it still is an interesting piece of evidence related to the fake plane phenomena. As I have said before, most “fake plane” videos are easily explainable. However, this video, like the one filmed in Moscow that I posted a last month, is different. As you watch the plane fly across the sky, there appears to be something strange about the aircraft’s tail section. Looking closely, it becomes apparent that the bulge is significantly larger than the rest of the fuselage. Additionally, it appears to be off center. Paying close attention to the shadows on the bulge it appears that all of it’s edges are rounded suggesting a elongated saucer like shape. What isn’t visible in the video, is whether or not the bulge is actually attached to or part of the plane. With this limited information, I have two hypotheses that potentially explain what we are seeing in this video. The first is that the bulge is attached to the plane and that the plane is not really a plane, just camouflage being used to disguise the what ever the bulge actually is. While there are planes that are capable of carrying cargo outside of the fuselage, the cargo is almost always mounted on top and centered over the wings. Mounting cargo under the tail section would be highly problematic both from an aerodynamic standpoint and because it would complicate takeoff and landing (if it didn’t make either outright impossible). This leaves us with the possibility that the wings and front fuselage are just window dressing to camouflage the true nature of the bulge, much like the allies did with tanks during the second World War. Now what the bulge actually is, that is anybody’s guess. It could be anything from a new aircraft design to a UFO. My second hypothesis focuses on the bulge not being attached to the aircraft. In this case, I would posit a guess that the bulge is in fact a second craft of some type flying close to underside of the airplane to avoid detection by radar and observation from the ground. As with my first hypothesis, the bulge could be anything from a secret aircraft (though I doubt anyone would endanger two aircraft by flying so close when there are easier ways to hide the second craft) to a UFO whose technology allows it to easily compensate for the increased turbulence and movements of the airplane it is flying underneath. It is also worth noting that some people have theorized that the bulge is just the result of jpeg compression causing a brightly colored tail section to appear larger than the more neutral fuselage. While, I have seen this effect in other videos, I have never seen it cause size to be exaggerated quite as much as would be required in this case. Additionally, this theory does not account for the shadows that indicate that the front of the bulge is also curved. Because of these points, I feel that this theory is unlikely, but as with all investigations into the unknown, it is important to be aware and open to ALL possible explanations.
