Did the Today Show unwittingly capture footage of a UFO flying over the Bay Bridge in San Francisco, or is it something far more earthly? At approximately 1:25 into a segment about the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake a black object flies across the frame seemingly just behind the reporter. To say that the UFO in this clip is quite noticeable is an understatement. So, is it possible that the news crew was so focused on the reporter and the segment that they completely missed a UFO flying across the San Fransico Bay in broad daylight, or is there another possible explanation for the object? As you can see the object quickly passes through the frame, silently traveling a path that places it somewhere between the unaware reporter and the bridge. How could the news crew miss something so large crossing their shot? While the quality of the video is so low, a positive identification is unlikely, I think there is a plausible explanation for the object and the news team’s indifference. In fact, you probably see at least one of the “object” everyday and don’t even notice it. I believe that the Today Show crew didn’t capture evidence of a UFO but instead captured footage of the bay area’s indigenous wildlife in the form of a bird flying along the bay. Do you agree? Today Show: Is California due for another ‘big one’?

Filmed the 15th of May on the UK coast near Marsden, this footage shows a strange light that appears to fly along side a airplane as it flies over head. The camera is relatively stable which rules out a recording glitch causing one of the marker lights to appear detached from the plane. Additionally, the swarm of flies that are in the shot don’t seem to be reflecting any light at all, making it highly unlikely one of the bugs managed to catch the sun in such a way as to create such a bright light. This leaves me wondering what exactly we are seeing in the video. Is the bright light the sun’s reflection or is the object generating the light on it’s own? Is this a UFO or something else? UFO in front of aircraft ???

Recently, the Valdosta Daily Times published an article about the Skunk Ape, the bigfoot like cryptid said to inhabit the south east. Since then it has received numerous calls from readers who claim to have seen the creature. One of the sightings happened as recently as the 21st of April when a reader, identified only as Joy, was driving down a stretch Highway 37 in Berrien County that is lined with swampy terrain, Georgia when her headlights caught something walking into the woods.

“I saw the back of something,” Joy says. “It was tall. … I thought it was a bear but a bear don’t walk on its back legs. … Honestly, it looked like an ape.”

According to the report, the witness gauged the hight of the creature to be approximately 6 feet tall.

A skunk ape was also sighted earlier this spring in nearby Brooks County when a witness, who asked that the paper withhold his name, spotted the reddish brown creature from the back porch of his house. Watching through binoculars, the witness observed the skunk ape for several minutes and estimates that it was over six feet tall. Originally, the witness thought what he saw may have been a human wearing a ghillie suit, but as he looked on, the creatures movements appeared strange.

“It didn’t walk like a human,” he said. “It’s joints don’t quite move like a human.”
