Unfortunately, we don’t have much information about this video other than it was supposedly filmed somewhere in the UK. According to Youtube user evpman, he was out filming chemtrails when he spotted this strange object overhead, which he reports was red in color. While even the witness thinks there is a possibility that this may just be a balloon, I am not ready to say that it is with any certainty. This is primarily because the object appears to be very stable in flight, which is not something that you would expect a balloon carried aloft to exhibit. What do you think, did evpman capture a UFO on film or is what he saw a simple balloon?

North Carolina Man Comes Face To Face With Sasquatch

Last week, Tim Peeler, a resident of Cleveland County, North Carolina, got more than he bargained for while calling coyotes at his mountain top home near Casar. Expecting coyotes to emerge from the woods, Peeler was shocked when a 10 foot tall creature with yellowish hair and a yellow beard came into view and started to approach. Peeler, yelled at the creature and was able to turn it back before he called the local authorities. In his calls to Cleveland County 911, Peeler sounds disoriented, though it is hard to tell if it is because of the shock of his sighting or from intoxication. While I am not sure if alcohol or another substance may have played a role in the sighting, Mr. Peeler stands by his story and asks that everyone keep an open mind. Adding some credibility to the report is the fact that there is no obvious benefit from the sighting to Mr. Peeler (in fact, saying that he was drunk and that he must have imagined the whole incident would probably be the easier course).

Bigfoot sightings are nothing new for Cleveland County, with reports of a Sasquatch-like creature locals dubbed Knobby dating back to the 1970′s, though county authorities say they have not received a report in years. Unidentified Object Filmed Over Yokohama, Japan

Here is an interesting video out of Yokohama, Japan that was supposedly shot earlier this month that shows a rotating object hovering in the sky. While some have posited that the object may be a balloon, I am not sure that is the answer. While a balloon would possibly tumble like the object in the clip after it was initially launched, a ballon it would eventually find equilibrium and steady itself – especially by the time it reached the apparent altitude that the UFO appears to be floating at. I thought it may be a kite, but there doesn’t appear to be any evidence that the object is tethered to anything. What do you think, is there a simple explanation for this mysterious object’s appearance over Yokohama or is it destined to remain a UFO?

Strange Objects Filmed In The Skies Above Columbia [May 2010]

I am not really sure what to make of this video that was reportedly shot in Columbia last month. It shows two objects, that appear to possibly be spherical, passing overhead. As I started watching the video, my first gut reaction was that this footage is of balloons floating in the sky but as the clip played on I became less sure. I can’t exactly put my finger on it, but there is something about this video that makes the balloon explanation not seem to fit. What do you think? Is my first reaction that this is just footage of balloons in the sky correct, or does this video show something else entirely?

Strange lights spotted over Fresno, California [May 27, 2010]

Here is an interesting video shot in Fresno, California yesterday morning (May 27, 2010) at approximately 5 AM that shows a pulsating red light flying across the sky followed by a second object that appears to be a helicopter (though the cameraman seems to think it is a second UFO). What interests me most about this footage is that you can clearly see the marker lights on the second object/helicopter where you cannot see them at all on the first pulsing object. In many UFO videos there is only the one unidentified object and even if you do not see marker lights, you still have to wonder if limitations in the camera are masking the tell tale marker lights. However in this clip, we have two craft in approximately the same area and on one we can clearly see its markers. This leads me to believe that the camera would have shown marker lights on the first object had they been there, indicating that the first object was not an aircraft operating under FAA regulations and may very well have been a UFO.

UFO Flies Through Today Show Segment?

Did the Today Show unwittingly capture footage of a UFO flying over the Bay Bridge in San Francisco, or is it something far more earthly? At approximately 1:25 into a segment about the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake a black object flies across the frame seemingly just behind the reporter. To say that the UFO in this clip is quite noticeable is an understatement. So, is it possible that the news crew was so focused on the reporter and the segment that they completely missed a UFO flying across the San Fransico Bay in broad daylight, or is there another possible explanation for the object? As you can see the object quickly passes through the frame, silently traveling a path that places it somewhere between the unaware reporter and the bridge. How could the news crew miss something so large crossing their shot? While the quality of the video is so low, a positive identification is unlikely, I think there is a plausible explanation for the object and the news team’s indifference. In fact, you probably see at least one of the “object” everyday and don’t even notice it. I believe that the Today Show crew didn’t capture evidence of a UFO but instead captured footage of the bay area’s indigenous wildlife in the form of a bird flying along the bay. Do you agree? Is this a bird gliding gently on the breeze, or do you think that the Today Show has captured evidence of a UFO over San Francisco Bay? Feel free the share your thoughts in the comments.

Strange light filmed flying along side a jetliner, is it a UFO?

Filmed the 15th of May on the UK coast near Marsden, this footage shows a strange light that appears to fly along side a airplane as it flies over head. The camera is relatively stable which rules out a recording glitch causing one of the marker lights to appear detached from the plane. Additionally, the swarm of flies that are in the shot don’t seem to be reflecting any light at all, making it highly unlikely one of the bugs managed to catch the sun in such a way as to create such a bright light. This leaves me wondering what exactly we are seeing in the video. Is the bright light the sun’s reflection or is the object generating the light on it’s own? Is this a UFO or something else? Multiple Skunk Ape Sightings In Southern Georgia

Recently, the Valdosta Daily Times published an article about the Skunk Ape, the bigfoot like cryptid said to inhabit the south east. Since then it has received numerous calls from readers who claim to have seen the creature. One of the sightings happened as recently as the 21st of April when a reader, identified only as Joy, was driving down a stretch Highway 37 in Berrien County that is lined with swampy terrain, Georgia when her headlights caught something walking into the woods.

“I saw the back of something,” Joy says. “It was tall. … I thought it was a bear but a bear don’t walk on its back legs. … Honestly, it looked like an ape.”

According to the report, the witness gauged the hight of the creature to be approximately 6 feet tall.

A skunk ape was also sighted earlier this spring in nearby Brooks County when a witness, who asked that the paper withhold his name, spotted the reddish brown creature from the back porch of his house. Watching through binoculars, the witness observed the skunk ape for several minutes and estimates that it was over six feet tall. Originally, the witness thought what he saw may have been a human wearing a ghillie suit, but as he looked on, the creatures movements appeared strange.

“It didn’t walk like a human,” he said. “It’s joints don’t quite move like a human.”

Lake Erie Type UFO Lights Spotted Over Pittsburgh [April 29, 2010]

Recorded yesterday in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania this video shows lights that appear to be very similar to the lights that were spotted over Lake Erie. While MUFON had officially labeled the Lake Erie lights as aircraft, because of their relationship with Bigelow Aerospace and Bigelow’s relationship with the FAA some doubt the MUFON findings. While I believe one set of lights in this footage is an aircraft, I’ld be interested to know for sure what the other set of lights are. I think it may be an aircraft, but it seems to remain rather stationary (especially compared to the other plane) which an airplane would not. What do you think, is this just an airplane or something else? Please feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.

Meteor-like UFO Spotted Over Miami, FL [February 28, 2010]

The evening of February 28th, several witnesses saw what appeared to be a meteor falling from the sky over Miami, Florida. However, it soon became apparent to the witnesses that the object they were watching was no meteor. According to three separate reports to MUFON (report #1, report #2, report #3) the “meteor” split into multiple objects which proceeded to change direction and fly off. Additionally, one of the witnesses saw the exact same thing happen moments later in the same area of the sky. This is a video (unfortunately of very low quality) of the same sighting taken by a fourth witness that shows the objects appearing to hover in the sky as they split apart and the second “meteor” falling and splitting up.

One possible explanation is that planes from the nearby Homestead Air Reserve Base were dropping flares, but in all the footage I have seen, flares are usually dropped separately in a line and are all individually visible from the time that they are dropped. The lights were only visible as a single point of light until they neared the ground in all of the witness statements. (Please feel free to correct me in the comments if I am wrong, as my knowledge of military flares is admittedly limited.) Additionally, if the lights were flares being carried by prevailing winds, they should have all been carried in approximately the same direction at approximately the same speed, but two of the witness accounts say that the objects flew at different speeds in multiple directions. This leads me to believe that these objects were not flares, leaving me wondering what exactly flying over South Florida that night? Please share your thoughts in the comments.
